RoboCop review

Robocop, a 1987 film, is violent, rude and cheesy. Peter Weller plays the main role. A gang of criminals kills and introduces Weller. Near the end of the movie, one character is hurt by toxic waste and dies when he is hit by a car and explodes. But this isn’t random violent; it has to do both with the storyline and the main idea. Robocop tells the story of a future Detroit in (RoboCop) which crime is rampant and police can't restore order. A big corporation partners with the police. They use the crisis to produce and sell new military equipment, such as combat robots, that will replace beat cops. The company will clean up and make money to make it possible for the construction of a new high-end area in the city.
